Research and Innovation Leadership at Altınbaş University 

At Altınbaş University, I have led the strategic and effective management of R&D resources, contributing significantly to the university’s inclusion in prominent international rankings such as the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and Scimago. 

I played a leading role in the establishment of the university’s Technology Development Zone (Teknopark), and contributed to the development of the first Office of the Dean of Research among Turkish foundation universities. 

My contributions extended to the accreditation processes as well, supporting the MÜDEK accreditation of engineering programs and playing an active role in the institutional accreditation process led by YÖKAK. 

I have directed the administrative operations of EU- and TÜBİTAK-funded research projects, thereby strengthening the university’s national and international research capacity. Additionally, I established systematic and measurable institutional frameworks for project and patent management. By actively promoting student engagement in research, I also supported the university’s strong participation in numerous TÜBİTAK student research projects (2209-A and 2209-B).
